First test of the school year

As i was taking the diagnostic test i was reminded about how i love to analyze poetry and literature. The test was very easy to take and gave me much hope about the AP English Literature class i am enrolled in in the fall! There was a part about the history literature which I surprisingly found to be more intriguing then i would have thought it. The thing that got me down a little were the essays not because i can't do them, just because they are not fun to structure and plan out. Though i do enjoy writing. Overall it was a nice first test of the school year and weirdly enjoyed taking.

  1. I'm glad you had such positive feelings about it! And don't worry about those essays--we'll have an attack plan that will become like second nature =)

  2. Hi Emily!
I think we are on opposite ends of the first test spectrum! I feel much better about AP Lit now that I have survived the first few weeks though, ha ha ha. In response to your post, When you say you don't like structuring the essays, what do you mean by that?

  3. Its awesome that you felt so confident after the test. Is there anything that you felt would be helpful next time? If you aced it, I guess you could just make a note of which strategies were helpful to you.
